Idar-Oberstein
INTERGEM at the Idar-Oberstein Exhibition Centre will bring together important players in the jewellery and gemstone industry from 29 September to 1 October with around 90 national and international exhibitors.

Top-class names such as Groh + Ripp OHG, Karl Faller e.K., Hermann Grimm KG, HC Arnoldi e.K., Arnoldi International e.K., Kreis Jewellery GmbH & Co. KG, Emil Weis KG and many more will represent the local industry!

Thanks to their contacts, which have been built up over generations, they are always able to offer exclusive and rare stones and outstanding and opulent pieces of jewellery.

Additionally, INTERGEM team welcomes a number of newcomers, including the Osmium Institute and value transport service provider Parcel Broker GmbH – a special report will follow.

GemTec Exhibition Area & Symposium
An exciting and new spectrum of INTERGEM will be presented this year with the GemTec exhibition area and symposium, where companies such as Günter Effgen GmbH and DMG MORI Ultrasonic Lasertec GmbH will not only present their techniques for processing hard-brittle materials, but will also show visitors the latest developments in this innovative industry in the symposium. Here you can benefit from the concentrated expertise of the hidden champions in the field of grinding and surface treatment.

Glamour and glitter will once again be offered by the “Live Jewellery Show” by influencer and gemmologist Katerina Perez (seen here below). Models will present exclusive pieces of jewellery selected by her and, as a special feature this year, loose stones for the first time. Together with her co-host, she will introduce her audience to the latest trends in jewellery, stones and fashion and thus also give her 420,000 followers insights into INTERGEM via live stream.

At the Get-Together on Friday evening, exhibitors and visitors can enjoy delicious finger food and a selection of wines in a cozy atmosphere free of charge. A unique event will be the highlight of the second day of the fair, the second edition of the “Long Night of Gemstones”. Outstanding locations of the industry and the city of Idar-Oberstein, such as the German Gemstone Museum, the German Mineral Museum, the Bengel Industrial Monument, the Steinkaulenberg Gemstone Mines, Trier University of Applied Sciences – Idar-Oberstein Campus, the Weiherschleife and the German Gemmological Society will open their doors free of charge from 7 p.m. to midnight for all participants in INTERGEM and for all interested people from the region. New for the second edition is the Fischbach copper mine. Due to the great demand and for some of these attractions, the visit is only possible by appointment and with a guided tour, information on this is available at intergem.de/lnde. There will be a free shuttle service connecting the individual locations on this evening.

Visitors to INTERGEM can also look forward to Thomas Kreis’ catering, which will include original Hunsrück „Spießbraten“, prepared over an open beech fire.

And last but not least: INTERGEM 2023 offers the ideal platform for all trade visitors interested in exclusive coloured stones, diamonds, pearls and innovative, extraordinary jewellery. Tickets for INTERGEM can be booked via the official website www.intergem.de.
