Houston Museum of Natural Science

The Natural Science Museum in Houston Texas is now displaying mater carvings by three generations of the Dreher family from Idar-Oberstein.

Dreher Masterworks

The exhibition opened on June 3rd, and runs through May of 2023.

On display are more than 120 carvings, the largest collection of Dreher family art objects ever put together.

Dreher Masterworks showcases the most highly sought after masterpieces of the gem carvers’ art.

These exquisite pieces are carved in ruby, sapphire, aquamarine, topaz and other rare gemstones.

This “MUST SEE” limited engagement is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity–an exhibition of the highest possible quality–exclusively at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

The book that highlights the masterworks of the Dreher family, photographed by world renowned gem and mineral photographer, Jeffrey Scovil.

International award winning jewelry artist Paula Crevoshay seen at the exhibit with Martin Bell caught our attention.

Exhibition: June 3, 2022 – May 29, 2023
