Silesian University of Technology: Politechnika Śląska Hosts Minerals Exchange

On Saturday and Sunday, November 30 and December 1, the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering, and Industrial Automation at the Silesian University of Technology held their annual “Minerals Exchange.” The corridors of the university, located in Gliwice, Poland, just over 300 km south/south-west of Warsaw, were filled with rocks, gems, minerals, and enthusiasts as part of the event. Many of these enthusiasts were also looking forward to workshops on mineral recognition.

Organized as part of the European City of Science – Katowice celebrations, the event has become one full of knowledge, and inspiration.
