In Kate Matthams’ feature story, seen in Forbes.com from July 9th, she calls out seven extraordinary pieces of high jewelry at couture week in Paris. One was a Tiffany & Co. cuff bracelet, one piece in the 2024 Blue Book’s “Iconic Stars” chapter. The stars in this cuff are set with mother of pearl inlay, acting as rays of the white and yellow gold stars, set with a central diamond, and nestled amongst a palette of freeform aquamarines and blue zircons, with one blue zircon cushion brilliant. Tiffany’s re-envisioned motifs and features in this collection comes from an archival Jean Schlumberger (1907–1987) gold box (above).

Let’s take a look at another “Iconic Star” jewel, a “starry night of diamonds, punctuated with unenhanced esteemed Sri Lankan sapphires,” with mother-of-pearl inlay again as like the Iconic Star cuff.

The Iconic Star necklace is set with a magnificent no-heat Sri Lankan sapphire weighing over 10 carats, accented by an additional 14 unenhanced sapphires with a total weight of over 12 carats, 1,025 round brilliant cut diamonds, and 185 triangles of mother-of-pearl.
