Pebbles to Pines Raffle Results

Columbia Gem House (CGH), Vancouver, Washington, has concluded the Pebbles to Pines fundraising raffle, a key event in their annual fundraising series. And it was a huge success!

If you are looking for an example as to how to give back, read on.

Their Goal Met
This year’s campaign raised enough for the planting of 10,000 trees! There were a total of 300 tickets sold, raising $7,750, and the additional donation from Columbia Gem House gave the fundraiser a total of $10,000 that was donated to NFF’s Reforestation Program. Those funds will directly benefit the National Forest Foundation’s Reforestation Program, where every dollar donated by the Pebbles to Pines Fundraiser will help plant a tree in the critical need areas. This includes forests in Oregon, Arizona, and Montana—states from which this year’s featured gems were sourced.

“A heartfelt thank you to the nine talented designers who generously donated their time and creations, as well as to MJSA for their partnership on this meaningful project. We also extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who purchased a ticket or shared the raffle with friends and family. The contribution made to the National Forest Foundation was made possible by all of you!” – CGH

Background
The Pebbles to Pines Fundraiser featured nine jewelry pieces donated by designers participating in the MJSA Responsibly Sourced Design Challenge, sponsored by Columbia Gem House. Participating designers were challenged with creating a design based on a fictional story provided by MJSA, then invited to physically create their pieces using the responsibly sourced gems donated by Columbia Gem House.

“We are thrilled to share that with your help, we reached our goal of planting 10,000 trees! Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated.” – CGH
