Gemfields “Shares” the Wealth
According to a report written for India’s GJEPC, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, Gemfields, mining ruby in Mozambique, and emeralds in Zambia, has shared a portion of its profits, as noted in royalties and taxes, to the Zambian and Mozambican governments.
