Sapphires did well!

In general, blue Sapphires did very well, doubling and tripling estimates, while emeralds sold but mostly at estimated values. The noticeable thread was that Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Faberge, Raymond Yard, Assael, Chaumet, Tiffany, and Fouquet have name recognition for quality that generates good sales, doubling, tripling, and with Cartier and Tiffany, 5 times and 6 times the estimated sale.
