NAJA’s 60th Annual ACE©it
Mid-Year Education Conference
The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) will be holding its 60th mid-year ACE©it conference in Providence Rhodes Island, August 12th through the 14th of August.
Conference attendees will hear from a dozen guest speakers, with topics that cover diamonds, colored gemstones, appraising, as well as gem & jewelry trade practices.
“Attendees of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers conferences have come to expect not only interesting topics, but relevant information that they can put into use immediately in their daily businesses,” says Stuart Robertson, Conference Chair. “This conference does exactly that.”
On hand will be an expert from the IRS discussing the requirements of a “Qualified Appraisal” and “Qualified Appraiser,” as well as the current education requirements expected for an appraiser. Anyone who writes appraisals that may be submitted to the IRS is going to want to be present for this presentation.
There will also be presentations on various gem and jewelry trends, markets, and marketing.
