Princess of Wales wears Bahraini pearl x
Princess of Wales Kate Middleton was spotted wearing the Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings in London as she met well-wishers outside Buckingham Palace on Friday ahead of Saturday’s coronation event, where King Charles III will officially be crowned.
The earrings feature round diamond studs, with baguette-cut diamonds in an arrangement typical of the late 1940s, as well as pearls.
The earrings were crafted using two of the seven pearls Queen Elizabeth II received as a wedding gift from Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa of Bahrain in 1947.
