NEW YORK — The Edit, an exhibition of contemporary Italian jewelry design, will be held just following the JA Show, in New York City on October 29 & 30, 2025.
The event, organized by ITA–Houston (Italian Trade Agency) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), and curated by creative director Paola De Luca, brings together a selection of Italian jewelry houses and independent designers. The exhibition combines design showcases, private viewings, and presentations focused on the creative traditions and evolving identity of Italian jewelry.
Participants represent a cross-section of Italian craftsmanship today, from heritage ateliers to contemporary makers exploring new forms and materials. The Edit is arranged in four thematic sections:
- Sculptural jewels, referencing the artistic legacy of the Renaissance;
- Organic creations, inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and mythology;
- Radiant silhouettes, reflecting the post-war era of La Dolce Vita; and
- Avant-garde forms, engaging with the experimental spirit of Futurism and modern art.
According to De Luca, the initiative aims to highlight how Italian designers balance traditional craftsmanship with modern production and education. She noted that Italy’s jewelry industry “continues to invest in innovation and training, while maintaining its commitment to quality and design.”

Crafted legacies meet modern style.
Mastery is where history dazzles into the present. Inspired by the splendor of Renaissance courts, today’s Italian artisans transform centuries-old goldsmithing into jewels designed for modern life. Think sculptural chokers paired with clean tailoring, bold cocktail rings stacked for vening drama, or ornate earrings reimagined as sleek statement pieces.
Emeralds, rubies, and luminous pearls—once the treasures of Florence and Rome—are now styled in unexpected combinations, layered with contemporary silhouettes that make them feel fresh, wearable, and distinctly personal.
These are jewels that carry the gravitas of heritage while embracing the freedom of modern styling: versatile, expressive, and endlessly collectible.
This is the new Renaissance: craftsmanship fused with research, beauty grounded in history but styled for today. Jewels designed not only to be admired in showcases, but to be mixed, matched, and worn with the same confidence that defines Italy’s timeless elegance.
