Founded 28 years ago by Joey Berlin, Rod Lurie and 42 founding members, the CCA is now the largest critics organization in the U.S. and Canada, with more than 580 members representing the broadcast, radio, online critics and entertainment journalists who view films, documentaries, and scripted and unscripted television.
The CCA was officially formed in 2019 with the merger of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and its sister organization, the Broadcast Television Journalists Association.

“After being delayed by California’s wildfires, the Critics Choice Awards finally took center stage, and the stars did not disappoint. As they stepped out in style to celebrate the biggest moments in film and television, the jewelry moments were nothing short of spectacular.”
“Zoe’s Cartier fabric choker was a rare sighting—when was the last time we saw one of those on a red carpet? And talk about surprises—many celebs switched up their usual jewelry brands, with Nicole Kidman opting for Roberto Coin over Harry Winston, and Cynthia Erivo going for Bucherer Fine Jewelry instead of her usual Tiffany and Roberto Coin picks. It was a night full of twists, turns, and some serious sparkle!”

DAKOTA FANNING: Can we talk about the necklace moment of the Critics Choice Awards? Dakota Fanning shut it down with Irene Neuwirth jewels including a one-of-a-kind Gemmy Gem Supreme aquamarine and diamond pendant necklace, with assorted matching cocktail rings, featuring rainbow moonstone, green tourmaline, aquamarine, and pave diamonds—and we’re still gasping for air!

MIKEY MADSON: Mikey, whose film Anora won Best Picture, didn’t just take home a trophy—she dripped in Tiffany & Co. diamonds. The Victoria necklace, crowned with a jaw-dropping 12-carat pear-shaped diamond, and matching pearl and marquise-cut diamond earrings? A vision. But let’s talk about those gloves. Were they chic, or did they rob us of a wrist stack moment for the ages?

LAMORNE MORRIS: The brightest brooch moment of the night goes to Lamarne Morris, who dazzled in a Toni + Chloe Goutal diamond crescent brooch. It’s bold, it’s sleek, and with Lamarne’s star power on Fargo, it’s no surprise he owned the red carpet.
