Heritage Auctions Results Shows Strong Desire for Affordable Estate Goods

LUXE JEWELS: 87 items sold for a total of $329,942. Amongst the winners in the LUXE Jewels Showcase auction were:

LOT #10156, Kashmir Sapphire, Diamond, Gold Ring
One oval-shaped Kashmir, no heat sapphire weighing 0.95 carats, accented by trapezoid-shaped blue sapphires, baguette and full-cut diamonds weighing a total of 0.59 carats, set in 18k white gold. Accompanied by a GIA report stating country of origin and no evidence of treatment.

The oval-shaped Kashmir sapphire measures 6.94 x 4.61 x 3.38 mm. “Kashmir sapphires are renowned for their extraordinary rarity and deep, velvety blue hues, created by the distinct geological conditions found in the Himalayan mountains. Mined primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these sapphires have become exceptionally scarce, making them highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs.”

LOT #10166, Retro Amethyst, Diamond, Platinum, Gold Jewelry Suite
Here is a retro jewelry suite possessing a big bold luxurious design typical of the era, featuring 13 emerald cut amethysts, measuring 9.95 x 7.70 x 5.00 mm to 22.20 x 15.80 x 8.00 mm.

All pieces test as 18k gold with diamonds set in platinum. Necklace completed by a box clasp, with the brooch completed by a trombone clasp.

Bellarri Multi-Stone, Diamond, Gold Bracelet

This 18k gold bracelet by Bellarri showcases the brand’s signature use of vibrant, multicolored gemstones, arranged in a dynamic array of baguette and heart cuts. The hinged design operates with a push-button box clasp, secured by two figure-eight safety latches.

This bangle beautifully captures Bellarri’s blend of vivid color and signature design. In very good condition with only minor contact marks to the base of the bangle.

Conch pearls, derived from the marine gastropod mollusk known as the Queen Conch (Aliger Gigas), are among the rarest pearls in the world. It is said that conch pearls form naturally only once in many thousands of conchs, making them extraordinarily rare.
Unlike other pearls, conch pearls cannot be cultured or farmed, which significantly contributes to their scarcity and high value. This ring features an impressive example of a conch pearl weighing 20.82 carats, as marked on the inside of the ring. The diamond weight is stamped inside the ring shank as listed in the description. The ring is accompanied by a Japan/Germany Gemological Report.

Van Cleef & Arpels: Parisian jeweler Alfred Van Cleef opened his salon in partnership with his brothers-in-law, Julien and Charles Arpels, in 1906.

Stones: Carved sapphire; calibré and rectangular-shaped rubies; full and single-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.20 carats

At the heart of this graceful leaf-shaped brooch lies a deep blue sapphire carving, measuring an impressive 29.05 x 16.50 x 4.65 mm. This intriguing gem, with its surface-reaching features, beautifully captures the essence of nature through its detailed leaf motif. Surrounding the sapphire, vibrant rubies are set in a delicate channel, though one accent is missing. Despite this, the brooch remains a distinctive addition to any collection. The brooch is completed by a 10k white gold hinged double pin stem and catch.

2024 November 21 – Jungle Of Jewels Luxe Jewels Showcase

Diamond, Ruby, Opal, Silver-Topped Gold Brooch
Opal cabochon; full and mine-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.80 carats; rose-cut diamonds; oval-shaped ruby weighing approximately 0.50 carat
Metal: 18k gold, silver-topped gold


Electronically tested as 18k gold and silver-topped gold. Completed with a pin-stem and C shaped clasp. Opal has scratches and ruby has wear to the facet junctions. Silver is discolored with oxidation. Reverse side of wings have a few small shallow cracks either from age or from initial casting.

Full cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.35 carat; round-shaped blue sapphire, pink sapphire, ruby, green garnet, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine; emerald and topaz cabochons


Diamond, Sapphire, Black Onyx, Gold Convertible Necklace
 Round-shaped yellow and orange sapphires weighing 3.52 carats; full-cut diamonds weighing 0.41 carat; black onyx cabochon
Metal: 18k rose and white gold
Stone weights are known. Chain is marked 750 18K ITALY and bearing an Italian maker’s mark <1813AL>. The pendant is fully removable from the accompanying chain and is completed by a double pinstem and catch on the reverse, allowing it to be worn as a brooch if desired.

Full-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.50 carats; emerald cabochons

This lion brooch is a fierce little accessory that adds a roar of boldness and wild charm to any outfit. Marked with French assay and maker’s marks. Completed by a double pinstem and sliding trombone catch. Scratches to the enameled nose are not eye visibly.
