Jeopardy! is a long running American television game show created by Merv Griffin, and hosted by Ken Jennings.

The show is a quiz competition amongst three contestants, that reverses the traditional question-and-answer format of many other quiz shows, by giving you the answer first, and then asking you to provide the question. All responses need to be made in the form of a question – “What is …”, “Who is …”, etc….   e.g. Clue: This Game Show… and the Response: “What is Jeopardy?”

Jeopardy Challenge Two Ways
A few nights back, the game had as one of its categories of general knowledge, Birthstones. We would like to share the quiz with you. And of course, the question we have… “How well would you have done in this category?” Let’s find out!

How to Play
We’re offering you two different ways to read the clues before you shout out your answers.
#1 – Since so many of you are in the gem and jewelry industry, we will give you the clues without giving you the month!
or #2 – If you are not in the industry, we will give you the clues exactly the way they were given on TV – including the month!

On Video (Month Included)
After reading through the clues below, if you believe you need the Birthstone’s Month to help you with the answer, you can watch the actual footage, videos below, for each clue the way Ken Jennings gave it to the contestants (including the month).

HINT – the $1000 clue
Don’t get tripped up on the $1000 clue.

READY? Here We Go!
