Enhance your expertise in pearl evaluation through hands-on learning in a laboratory-class setting. You’ll handle a variety of pearls and practice trusted and reliable assessment techniques.


Montana Sapphires: History, Gemology & Identification
Feb 3 | 9 AM – 12 PM
Dig deep into the storied sapphire mines in Montana and study the inclusions that can indicate origin under the guidance of Dr. Aaron Palke, GIA Senior Manager of Colored Stone Research.
